How can I create my LAN password?
Returning students who were not registered in the previous year(s) and first year students who are fully registered can create a LAN password by clicking on the link: https://password.ukzn.ac.za
Username: Studentnumber@stu.ukzn.ac.za
Old Password: Stu@ddmmyyyy where mmddyyyy is your date of birth.
Eg if your date of birth is 25/10/2001 then your password is going to be Stu@25102001
New Password: Password Of your choice
Confirm Password: Password Of your choice
(Please remember) Password requirements:
NEW PASSWORD RULES
Must have the minimum of 8 but not more than 127 characters
Must have Uppercase, Lowercase and Numbers
Must Not have your name, surname, ID number or any of your information
